17 Dec Sarina State School
Sarina State School was established in 1897 known as Plane Creek Provisional School, later changing its name to Sarina State School in 1911. In 1956, a secondary department was established which was maintained until the end of 1964 after which a separate High School was established.
Today, Sarina State School incorporates the Sarina Special Education Program as an integral part of the school and provides continuing education from prep to year 7. Our school is the major centre for the surrounding areas of Armstrong Beach, Grasstree Beach, Campwin Beach and Sarina Beach, however many students live in town. Our students transition to Sarina State High School, with state of the art facilities and educational offerings.
